Ontario Open Shooting Dog Championship
Starts 7:30 am Tuesday September 6th 2011 to conclusion. Entry Fee $200.00 (Canadian Funds)
Purse : $10 per dog will be deducted from entry fees then split 50% divided 70% for winner and 30% for Runner up (Canadian Funds) Hat Pins to Champion and Runner Up Owners. If no Champion named, stake reverts to a Shooting Dog stake 50% of entries split 50%-30%-20%.
One Hour Heats – To be run on liberated Pheasants
Grounds : Hullett Wildlife Area , Clinton Ontario
Judges : Dan Long, Perrysville Ohio and Bill Branham Charleton Michigan
Eligibility : Dogs must have a recognized win in an Open Shooting Dog or Open Derby Stake.
Ontario Open Derby (30 mins, Shooting Dog Stds) Entry Fee ….$65.00 (Canadian Funds)
To be run following the Championship
Grounds : Hullett Wildlife Area , Clinton Ontario
Purse : 50% of Entries Divided 50-30-20 $10 deducted from purse per Dog for Grounds and Administration Fees
Judges : Dan Long, Perrysville Ohio and Bill Branham Charleton Michigan
Drawing : Open Shooting Dog Championship and Open Derby will be on Monday September 5th 2011 at the Ministry Office near grounds (Hydro Line Road) , Clinton , Ontario. Entries close at 8 pm. Handlers Dinner will be on Wednesday September 7th 2011 at the Ministry Office (Hydro Line Road) near the grounds at 7pm.

Notes for all Events:
*No training on grounds during Championship.
*Only a single barrel firearm (no long guns please), with blank shells which prevents a projectile of any kind from leaving the barrel may be used.
* No harassment of Judges or officials at any of the events will be tolerated.
*Garmin Electronic GPS Tracking devices are currently prohibited in Canada.
*Please ensure that you have up to date documentation (passport etc) when crossing the border.
* Persons attending the trials do so at their own risk. Neither the club, it’s directors nor landowners are responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of any kind incurred to anyone, their horses, dogs or equipment.
