A big thank you to all who attended and supported the Toronto Branch club at our Beverley Swamp field trial. The course at Beverley has a variety of cover from wide open edges to thick grouse woods and about everything in between; the calibre of dog work was impressive and many dogs showed off their ability to handle varying terrain.
Various individuals judged most of them agreeing to their positions on very short notice. The judges were Vince Principato, Zyggi Matuszewski, Tim Tufts, Spencer Ray, Ugo Pennacchietti, Shawn Wright, and Jeff Phelps. The judges all walked as the course is not yet feasible for horses and their effort is appreciated.
We had great support from local trialers and our American friends. The results are as follows:
Open Puppy:
1- Thomas Adirondack Buster SM, Jim Thomas
2- Creek Haven Simon Sez SM, Rino Grassa (first time trialer)
Open Derby:
1- Sweetriver Lace PF, Mike Panovski
2- Panovski Porkroll PF, Mike Panovski
3- Thomas Adirondack Tommy SM, Jim Thomas
Open Shooting Dog:
1- Thomas Adirondack Ringo SM, Jim Thomas
2- Panovski Porkroll PF, Mike Panovski
